I Saw Jesus Making Pancakes

Chords: C Am F G

I saw Jesus in the morning making pancakes before church

And the Buddha in the bathtub scrubbing bubbles on the dirt

Radha Krishna and Mohamed serving sausages to Zeus

Can we tell you that we love you in this moment of our truth?

Hear the old man on the mountain telling parables of life

As the Moses of the freed slaves whispers nothings in your ear

When you find them could you tell me what they ever do in stride?

Can you hear me? I am with you in the servitude of Christ

I have visions I hear voices singing paintings from divine

Inspirations of sensations this great spirit of mine

Clime the mountain seek the eagle to the buffalo and sun

I can tell you it’s no secret that these Gods and we are one

Feel the spirit taste the sunshine in the breakfast we both dine

With my body bread unleavened drink my blood it is wine

Aldus Huxley Jean-Paul Sartre and the meaning of life

For the moment is forever in a twist of space and time

Charles Darwin, Stephen Hawking, Nikola Tesla, Newton’s Law

As i sit here painting nothing in imaginary space

You can love it you can leave it you can make it a mistake

But the moment is forever in a touch of warping space

I saw Jesus drinking water turning bottles into wine

I was with you in the beginning in the genesis of time

Now years later, many decades, many centuries passed by

It’s amazing that we got here this phenomenon of life

I saw Jesus in the morning making pancakes before church
